With studios in Surry Hills, Bondi, Potts Point and Redfern, we’re lucky to be near some of the best cafes and healthy food spots in Sydney!
Here are just a few of our favourite places for decent coffee, homemade smoothies and post-class eats…
Where to eat in Surry Hills
This hole-in-the-wall might be the smallest cafe in Sydney but with kombucha on tap – think beetroot and dill or blood orange and cinnamon – homemade smoothies, fresh salads, sandwiches and cakes, it’s ideal for quick pick-me-up on the run.
An amazing cafe-deli hybrid for vegans. Chef Juan Carlos Miranda is behind an innovative, delicious menu which includes “chicken” club sandwiches, a “reuben” and brekky buns with pulled jackfruit, a legit vegan egg and sweet chipotle mayo.
This charming eatery just metres from our flagship studio serves up a huge range of gourmet salads and nourishing bone broths along with housemade curries, tortillas and healthy sweet treats.
Where to eat in Potts Point
Hands-down one of the best coffees in town. Owner Frankie roasts its beans three different ways before tapping out single origin brews and he’s got draft cold coffee on tap, homemade almond milk and a curated selection of breakfast bowls, avo on toast and fresh pastries.
The name says it all. This hybrid cafe cum health food store in the heart of Potts Point has one of our favourite line-ups of raw treats, biodynamic, vegan and paleo dishes, along with healthy ingredients to take home.
Where to eat in Redfern
Clever name, right? This light-filled bakery specialises in sourdough, organic rye and gluten-free breads. There’s also treat-yourself pastry shelf with sweet things such as flaky almond croissants, sour cherry danishes and sticky buns – all pretty hard to pass up after a session on the reformers or yoga mat!
With hanging plants and curios from Mexico, Philippines, Vanuatu and the UK on the walls, Hunter’s Corner is one of our favourite cafes to wile away an hour or two. Despite its international feel, the owners are all about sourcing local with coffee beans from Mecca in Alexandria, vegetables from the grocers across the street and breads from Sonoma.
Where to eat in Bondi Beach
If it’s good enough for Will Smith, it’s good enough for us! We love this North Bondi local from morning to night for its green pea pancakes with avocado and eggs, fresh smoothies and cold-pressed juices, and evening menus of kingfish ceviche, homemade gnocchi and local wines and brews.
Bondi Markets
A swim, studio class and meander through the Bondi Markets is a Sydney weekend line-up we’ll never tire of. Aside from the excellent people watching, we’re all about the Korean bibimbaps, homemade pho and steamed dumplings, along with the freshly brewed chai and take home organic fruits and vegetables.
From bulletproof coffee and green smoothies to raw cacao balls and acai bowls, this perennial favourite is just a few steps from the studio and Bondi Beach. We love to sit at the table outside with the locals and pat their pups, or order takeaways and head straight for the beach.
